This beginner-friendly course introduces young learners (ages 7+) to the world of programming through Scratch, a fun and colourful block-based platform. Designed to spark computational thinking, problem-solving, and creative skills, this course guides students step-by-step as they build interactive stories, animations, and digital art using tools like ask/say blocks, conditions, and loops.

Through a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach, students tackle real-world challenges like syncing sprite actions and designing custom characters while mastering essential programming concepts such as variables, sequencing, and forever loops. From crafting an eco-friendly dialogue in “Eco-Chat: A Dialogue for Change” to unleashing a fire-breathing dragon in “Eco-Pet Adventures,” learners will bring their ideas to life with hands-on projects that blend coding and creativity. Whether you’re new to coding or just love to create, this course equips you with the skills to design engaging digital experiences and think like a programmer.

Prerequisites
